Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information the Surfora game ("Surfora", "we", "us") collects, why, and the choices you have. Surfora — listed on the app stores as "Surfora: Make Waves" — is a one-tap surfing game for iOS and Android.
The short version: Surfora does not collect personal data. Everything the game saves — scores, progress, settings — is stored on your device and never leaves it. There are no ads, no analytics, no accounts, and no tracking in the current version.
Who we are
Surfora is developed by Anıl Yetik, publishing as Team Yeti on Google Play and as Anıl Yetik on the Apple App Store. For any privacy question or request, contact us at anilyetik@gmail.com.
Information we collect
None. The current version of Surfora does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. Specifically:
- Gameplay data stays on your device. Scores, best runs, coins, unlocked characters, and settings are computed and stored locally on your device only. They are never uploaded anywhere. Deleting the app deletes them.
- No accounts. There is no sign-up, no login, and no profile.
- No advertising SDKs. The game contains no ad networks and does not use your device's advertising identifier.
- No third-party analytics. No analytics or tracking SDKs are included.
- No servers. We do not operate backend servers for the game, so no technical data (such as IP addresses) is received by us.
We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, contacts, photos, or location, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone — including children.
Platform services (Apple & Google)
If you choose to use platform gaming features where available — such as Game Center on iOS or Google Play Games on Android — sign-in and any related data (for example achievements or leaderboards) are handled directly by the operating system platform, not by us. That processing is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy and Google's Privacy Policy respectively. These features are optional.
Purchases
If in-app purchases are offered, payment is processed entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We never receive or store your payment details. Purchase records are handled under Apple's and Google's own terms and privacy policies.
Children
Surfora is intended for a general audience aged 13 and over and is not directed at children under 13. Since the game collects no personal data, it does not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has somehow provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Planned changes (ads & analytics)
A future update of Surfora is expected to add third-party analytics and/or advertising providers. Before any such version ships, this policy will be updated to name the providers, describe exactly what they collect, and explain your choices — including consent prompts where required by law (for example Google's consent message in the EEA/UK and App Tracking Transparency on iOS). Until this page says otherwise, the "we collect nothing" description above is the complete picture.
Your rights
Depending on where you live — for example under the GDPR (EEA/UK) or the CCPA/CPRA (California) — you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. Because we do not collect or hold personal data, there is normally nothing for us to access or delete: your game data lives only on your device and is removed by deleting the app. You can still contact us any time at anilyetik@gmail.com and we will respond to any request or question. We do not sell personal data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time — including before the update described above. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
